Everyone loves a good Chicago-style high rise apartment made from some warehouse that made jellybeans. You know it’s true.
This 3D render was constructed in Cinema 4D with the lovely assistance of Redshift for the rendering. Some assets were pulled from Quixel Megascans, such as the beams and fauna. The rest were either modeled or downloaded. To add wrinkles and folds to the upholstery, the brush tool in Cinema 4D worked perfectly set to “normal” mode.
The scene is lit with a big area light outside the window funneling through portal lights behind the glass. We used a similar technique on this post.
